We were headed to Steamboat for Easter vacation this past weekend, so thought we'd drop in on a few friends in the hotel & event industry while we were there. We've facilitated team building and corporate adventures in Steamboat Springs over the years, and this last trip confirmed one of the main reasons Steamboat is so great...
Steamboat Springs is out of the way. It is beautiful. It's not near the I-70 corridor. So it may be tougher to get to for corporate meetings, but it's worth the trip and gives an unspoiled Colorado vibe that locals feed on. I mean... Winter Olympians are born here, they have a ski jump right in town to prove it! Howelson Hill is such a huge deal that the new Colorado History museum in Denver has created a virtual simulator in efforts of giving visitors that same experience if they can't get to Steamboat. And while that is great news, you may just want to think about hosting your next meeting in Steamboat to really grasp what it's all about. The Sheraton and the Grand have great group amenities, and we partner with them for team building and corporate adventuress, so start planning your 'Boat trip today!
