We offer custom hiking, peak climbing, mountain biking, rock climbing, backcountry skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing adventures to groups of all sizes. Our guides are patient and skilled climbers, cyclists, and backcountry travel experts with the knowledge to educate guests about the fascinating history and ecology of the mountains. We are permitted by the Nat’l Forest Service and people of all ages and skills have enjoyed CBST’s programs since 1994.

Just west of the Continental Divide and less than 90 mins by car from Denver, Summit County is perfectly situated for any type of mountain adventure. The Tenmile Range, the Gore Range and the Front Range all converge right here to create a high and dry climate with year-round sunshine, plenty of snow in the winter, golden aspen leaves in the fall, and warm summer days. Why CBST ADVENTURES?
CBST Adventures has been guiding personal and corporate adventures since 1994. We are one of the few guides in Summit County CO who are permitted by the U.S.D.A. Forest Service to operate in the White River National Forest. For over twenty years we have been offering our local knowledge, seasoned guides and incredible customer service to our clients.
Beyond our experience and official credentials, we are adventurers at heart and value the opportunity to explore the outdoors with our groups. Our guides seek professional training and accreditation and have logged many miles on the trails and rocks of the area. Guides have a variety of specialized knowledge and vast experience in backcountry skills. Not only will CBST’s guides take you on the greatest trails and make sure you return safely, we’ll share great stories along the way, offer interesting education about the local lore, history and natural environment.
Our risk management is second to none. To provide the best outcomes in the case of an incident, our guides are 1st Aid trained and many on the team have gone on to get higher levels of medical training (EMT, WFR) or have skill certifications (AMGA or IMBA) specific to the tour they are leading.
